Video Conferencing

Through the Kannu calendar you have the ability to link to video conferences.

Here’s how:

  1. Create an event and save it.

  2. Once saved, you’ll be able to edit the event by clicking on its pencil icon.

  3. Note that using the pencil icon you can customize any aspect of the event:

    -Edit the Event Title
    -​Edit the Date/Time
    -Add Attendees

  4. Optionally, use the calendar dropdown to select a specific course.

  5. Add an optional description for your event.

  6. Once you are ready there is an option for video URL, where you can paste your favorite video conferencing link, e.g. Google Hangouts or Zoom.

  7. Lastly, save it and you are ready for video conferencing with your students.

Note, that when your students go to the event and select ‘Join Video Call’, the video conferencing tool will launch directly from Kannu.

Kannu also integrates with Polycom. If you have a Polycom account and are interested in adding it to your Kannu portal, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team for details regarding an integration.
